Our Strategic plan

Greetings,
First, I would like to thank you for joining us as we stand against violence in the City of
Saint Louis. We are declaring this summer Code Red! The summer months are riddled
with tragic deaths due to violence. In prayer, God placed this initiative in my heart to
have a collective body of believers make an impact in our communities.

Gather your CODE RED teams!

Code Red Teams should consist of at least four teams: One Base Team and three Street Teams.

Team 1 - Base Team

This team will remain at the designated location (a church, business or community center) to meet and fellowship with people who pass by. Music always draws a crowd. Make sure you play positive, upbeat music.

The Base Team should consist of at least four people:

1. Food server(s)
2. Literature and ribbon distributor
3. Security Personnel
4. Intercessor(s)

Be prepared to offer people passing by information about your church, ministry, or services that you provide. Have a cookout with grab-and-go food choices such as hot dogs, chips, bottled water and juice.

Items you will need: Speakers, music, tables and chairs for food and literature, paper and pen to collect contact information including name, address, phone number, email address and household size.

Teams 2, 3, and 4 - Street Teams

These teams will canvass the community to distribute red ribbons and pray with families as requested. Team members should be in pairs within their groups.

Each Street Team should consist of at least four people (ideally six people):
1. Team Leader
2. Recorder
3. Security Personnel
4. Intercessor

The leader needs to know who is on their team. Any issues or concerns need to be brought to the team leader’s attention. A security person or male team member is needed to ensure that everyone returns to base
together. Each team needs a recorder who will write down the household name and the address that a ribbon was placed on. It’s important to have intercessors on each team in order to pray for families that are in need.

Someone should be in position to take photos of positive engagements with neighbors. These photos can be added to your website and social media pages or to the Code Red site.

A ribbon should be placed on every door that has been touched. A prayer has been included that can be used as the prayer of covering for every household. Use this prayer as your guide.

If the person is not at home, staple a ribbon to the door hanger for them to administer themselves later. The door hanger should have information about the location of your church and a link to the Code Red Passover website for more information about the initiative.

Code Red Post-it!

As our evangelism teams greet residents in our communities, we will ask permission to record the name of the head of household, address, phone number and email (info will be used to invite family to community events ONLY). Once each team has completed their route and returned to home base, the contact information for each family will be transferred to Post-it notes and placed on the church’s prayer wall. Each family posted on the prayer wall will be covered in prayer twice a week during prayer service on Wednesday and Sunday.

The thought is if we show them the love of Christ at our community events a desire to attend worship will come by way of the work of the Holy Spirit.

The goal is for every church to touch at least 500 homes. However, aim for more. Go out multiple times in order to reach as many homes as possible. On a quarterly basis, reach out to the homes you have touched. Invite them to attend upcoming events at the church and to be a point of contact if they need prayer or other assistance.

CODE RED PASSOVER PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You that You look over your word
to perform it. We decree and declare according to Psalm 91 that this
family dwells in the secret place of the Most High and that they remain
stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty, whose power no
enemy can withstand. Father, You are their Refuge and their Fortress. No
evil shall befall them, no accident shall overtake them, nor any plague or
calamity come near their home. Give your angels special charge over
them to accompany and defend and preserve them. Father, thank You for
pouring out Your Spirit upon this family. They will dwell in peace and
safety.
Lord, you see the violence in the streets and in our schools. We pray dear
God that every drug dealer and gang member will have an encounter with
you and submit to Your will. Destroy the schemes of the enemy, reveal
every plot, O Lord. Disrupt violence and strife in our city and restore order
and peace.
Jesus became our Passover by shedding His own precious blood on the
cross. On the Authority of Your Word, dear God, we proclaim that the
Blood of Jesus protects us from premature death and shelters us from all
violence. We draw a bloodline around this family and the evil one cannot
cross it. We decree and declare according to Isaiah 54:17 No weapon
formed against this family shall prosper. We decree and declare that
there will be no breaching of walls, no going into captivity and no cry of
distress in our city streets.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
